Obama is blocked, which I admit is a shame. He won't be getting a chance to implement his ideas so we will never know. Best to keep him in though because Romney will get the chance and we can't afford to go backwards right now.

Real leaders LEAD.

Re-electing Obama is like the Titanic backing-up and running into the iceberg again.

And people wonder why so many of us are independent after reading rubbish like this! Are the zealots of both party’s stupid or what?
The reason so many people are on food stamps is due to the lack of jobs, jobs that don't require specialized education. Those types of jobs have been outsourced over the years in response to political pressure from those that directly benefit. In years past like the great recession of the 1980's, once cash was put into the hands of the consumers there was a direct effect of our manufacturing. Today when cash is put in the hands of consumers there is a direct effect in China, Mexico, Pakistan, etc.
Both parties are guilty, please spare all of us the blabbering against any specific political person or party!

True enough but at some point we are going to have to grow up and walk, talk and eat with the rest of the world.
The future is world trade, not a lot we can do about that but learn to survive well with in it. We have to move forward, we can't hide and go backwards, shutting down our borders to trade and world participation. It's just not reality.
Scared people hide, why would we run? We can and will learn to run with the rest of the kids, it just takes time, we are a young country. The future needs to be planned now, we need to make sure we implement in our favor, not run and hide or close shop. That won't work well.

It would behove us to take a look at other older countries advances and implement our own similar policies instead of denying our youth and looking like stupid teenagers. IMO, of course.

That's actually the real cop-out.

One Party has a vision for getting America back on it's feet again. You do that by being friendly to business and especially small business.

Obama is the antecedent to business.....he's said it NUMEROUS times.

I see you have drunk the "cool aid" and refuse to look at the facts and all the jobs that have allowed to be outsourced by BOTH parties. Not everyone have the mental ability or the recourses to get specific technical training. BOTH parties have allowed the death of the construction jobs by allowing the influx of illegal’s taking these positions. There might be a token effort by checking ID's of these workers but until the employers are either heavily fined or sent to jail we can kiss those jobs goodbye.
