I hear things about the real democrats. About how they work in congress. They are afraid to tell America what they really want to do and how they think life should be. At least with the Romney's they are honest and up front.
Right. She worked her way through that private prep school she went to as a child.
Jealous much? The demonizing of wealth from the left is beyond pathetic.
Doesn't really matter where, or what type, of school she attended. Success is success.....and those with it do not owe that success to some one else. But that's the leftie way. Demonize those whom have, but still expect to take from them.
Yes. She did. Being a stay-at-home mom doesn't equate to not earning. Raising good, decent kids who aren't out committing crimes and cruising the neighborhood means she did a very good job.
/sigh
And the bloated, decomposed Teddy kennedy.
And the reward for the best photoshop of the week goes to...
Well explain what she done wrong to all of you whiners and bashes! All you can say is that she is rich.......and she earned it!
They build their business and didn't ask for a hand out from the government like many of the Obama lovers...the entitlement population!
What business did they build exactly?
Romney was first hired (thanks to connections from his GOVERNOR and CEO father) by a consulting firm...you know, a company that tells other companies how to do things while not actually doing anything themselves other than getting rich. I know this because my father got rich this same way.
He then co-founded Bain Capital, a master of the Hostile Takeover (leveraged buyout).
Quote:
Bain Capital's leveraged buyouts sometimes led to layoffs, either soon after acquisition or later after the firm had left. How jobs added compared to those lost due to these investments and buyouts is unknown, due to a lack of records and Bain Capital's penchant for privacy on behalf of itself and its investors. In any case, maximizing the value of acquired companies and the return to Bain's investors, not job creation, was the firm's fundamental goal, as it was for most private equity operations. Bain Capital's acquisition of Ampad exemplified a deal where it profited handsomely from early payments and management fees, even though the subject company itself ended up going into bankruptcy. Dade Behring was another case where Bain Capital received an eightfold return on its investment, but the company itself was saddled with debt and laid off over a thousand employees before Bain Capital exited (the company subsequently went into bankruptcy, with more layoffs, before recovering and prospering). Bain was among the private equity firms that took the most fees in such cases.
Sure, some of the investments "created jobs", but much of what they did cut thousands of jobs or sent them to India/China. He's good at making money, sure, but he never built anything.
And what did Ann have to do with any of it? She just rode her horses and managed the staff that took care of the house and kids. And I'm not jealous, because my mother did the same thing (though she played music instead of horses), I'm just pointing out that being the wife of a rich consultant does not mean you have any part in anything, you're just lucky that your husband happens to be good at making money.
She says women should vote for Mitt because he's a "can-do kind of guy".
What a vapid, vacant argument. It's also condescending. She must not think that women have the ability to think and make good decisions on their own.
Not at all. Did you listen to her speech? It was very good, and recieved high praise.
