Sure. He simply remembered a version of events that just so happened to make him look a lot better.

Based on what? You too are claiming the power to read minds? Or do you have some evidence for your bizarre conspiracy theory? As far gone as our politics are, I still don't think we are at the point that a VP candidate feels the need to falsify marathon times.
