AFTER A week as topic No. 1 in American politics, former Carmel Mayor Clint Eastwood said the outpouring of criticism from left-wing reporters and liberal politicians after his appearance at the Republican National Convention last Thursday night, followed by an avalanche of support on Twitter and in the blogosphere, is all the proof anybody needs that his 12-minute discourse achieved exactly what he intended it to.
Damne fine article. How much you wanta bet that at least two of the readers who haven't replied are busily trying to find proof that the Pine Cone Archive isn't a real newspaper? I said all along that Eastwood had that planned out and did just what he wanted to do. People that realize how good a director and actor he is while acting in movies he directs just have to admit that he may be at least as smart as some of his parts in movies.
I have said all along that he meant to do just what he did. He has directed and acted in a couple of movies in his 82 years and I thought he did a damned fine job of acting. I watched that thing 5 times and thought he was better every time.

Chris, I think you just misquoted the article, but then you made your point by so doing. Did you read very much of the article beyond the first line? Don't tell me. I know.
You like that fake add on crap, I see. Of course, it was a quote from the mind of the poster since he didn't even open up the link.
Roy, I know it was added on by the poster and not real. I just found it hillarious.
