He doesn't "want" to. He ALREADY DID.

There is a code pertaining to our flag. And for this president to go against that code, to raise campaign cash, is disgusting. Americans died defending that flag. Americans died to bring that flag to where it is today.

I have to say, I may buy one, just so I can burn it.

How are those that live in other lands - who hate America going to burn the flag if they can not recognize it? This is a great dis-service to militant Muslims all over the world to deny them a clear target to hate...Obama is not loyal to the Muslims..or anyone else.

Not unless the Secret Service has gotten into the business of producing pins with little gold elephants embossed on flag pins.

It was a GOP pin. Both Ryan and Romney wore them. An American flag (stars and stripes intact) with a little gold elephant embossed over the stripes in the lower right-hand corner.

Pins and posters and prints have frequently been inspired by the American flag, but have a specific message that goes beyond the flag.

The GOP pins conveyed their own message. These prints by the Obama campaign have their own message.

And neither is an effort to "redesign the American flag".

Maybe you didn't read thoroughly. I'd suggest that you go back and see the other image.

But,...nice try. No cigar.
Most illiterate Albanians would probably know the US flag doesn't feature only 5 stripes of red with irregular borders so not only no cigar for you, your lame whine doesn't even earn credit as a try.

Since there are so many GOP-ers posting on this thread, perhaps you could tell me why the Tampa Convention logo featured a waving American flag with only three stars on it, and a trumpeting elephant on the stripe portion. I saw the logo on T-Shirts for sale at the convention, and also volunteers who worked the convention had the logo embroidered on their "uniforms".

Buy a poster?

I had found him wearing a secret service pin earlier, but can't find it now. Here is a photo of both Romney and Ryan. Not sure what Romney is wearing, but Ryan is definitely wearing a secret service pin:

Here is a Secret Service pin:

Wonder how much they paid the pot smoking graphic artist to come up with this blob---real original...a map...a few sloppy stripes..no stars and a circle representing the globe...off where stars used to shine...sure is dumb...what was wrong with using the real thing? I guess this is job creation or something...I bet the pot head who came up with the design...will now have a years supply of dope...and crayons.

Oh for the love of rationality.

It's not a flag. It's a picture in the shape of America. It has some design elements similar to the flag, but it is not THE flag.

This is not a proposal to change the design of the ACTUAL AMERICAN FLAG. Which is what the phrase "redesigns American flag" would mean.

It has about as much to do with "redesigning the American flag" in any official capacity as this:

Or as much as this had to do with "redesigning the Union Jack":

That elephant is the Republican Party logo, Obama the narcissist thinks he is an entity all unto himself. Obama is the one who has fundamental disagreements with our country, he is the one who wants to "fundamentally transform the United States" into his own image, not Romney, not the GOP
