Faux outrage and misleading headlines. Sounds about right.

I notice the distinct lack of outrage when Republicans "redesign" the American flag by sticking an ugly elephant on it. But a piece of artwork that's clearly inspired by the flag but isn't actually a flag? Outrage.

Just goes to show you what liberals think of our country. They hold Barack Hussein Obama in higher regard than their own country.

This is not a proposal to change the design of the ACTUAL AMERICAN FLAG. Which is what the phrase "redesigns American flag" would mean.

It has about as much to do with "redesigning the American flag" in any official capacity as this:

Or as much as this had to do with "redesigning the Union Jack":

this looks like a picture of flag to me:

Now you can argue that it doesn't mean anything, that people do this all the time, but... do you really think this is a respectful manner for a presidents campaign?

As for fox news, what does that have to do with the content?
And the RNC sold T-shirts with an American flag that featured three stars (why, I don't know) and an elephant trumpeting across the striped background.

I have a flag from Desert Storm. It's the American flag with a yellow ribbon and the words "We Support Our Troops" over the stars and stripes.

I bought in on a U.S. Marine base during a fund raiser for Marine families.

Think I'll fly 'er today.

Sure, it is a logo, not arguing that. What is interesting is that it is a redesign of the flag as a logo.

Not arguing that. I am questioning the purpose of taking the flag, removing components of it and inserting your own into it such as they did.
