Coming out of this Congress, probably not. I think most people expect the tea party republicans in the House to scream and yell about nonsense--it's the "boy who cried wolf" syndrome. You can only do that so many times before no one listens to ANYTHING you say, and that's where we seem to be now. It's a pity, because even if there might be something to all of this, most Americans aren't going to listen or care until there's absolute, undeniable proof--they don't trust the tea party to be straight with the American people, and they just assume it's more of the same. Four years of ranting about "Kenyan/terrorists/socialists/communists" has a price....
The ONLY thing that would ever be a game changer is what the media dictates as a game changer. This entire Libya fiasco that resulted in 4 Americans dead, and the first Ambassador to be murdered since the Carter Administration, would have sunk an Administration this close to an election. But since it is not a Republican in office, the reporting on this has been tame to say the least.
Im sure these people are just as furious over Bush ignoring 9/11 warnings.
13 documented incidents within a specific city in Libya vs, a vague warning about Bin laden planning to attack somewhere in the United States. Let's see, where could PREVENTIVE MEASURES have actually PREVENTED the deaths of Americans?
