OKay, here is a totally non-partisan post with a twist. I thought it would be kewl to let people post how they think the electoral college votes will go. There are 538 total electoral votes, with 270+ needed for a win.

Here is the map:

Post your best guess at the outcome of the electoral college votes.

For those who nail it exactly, I'll send one (1) lucky someone a custom Funky Bear (no catches).
>>> POST a number between 1-500 to your guess as a tie breaker. The closest number under the tie breaker gets the gift.

It's just a gift for playing along, and my way of saying thanks.
I didn't see anything in the toss against it.

My guess (doesn't count of course)

Romney 283
Obama 255

Cheers

The President carries the traditionally blue states + DC (242 EVs) and adds NM (5), NV (6), NH (4), OH (18), VA (13), IA (6), CO (9) and FL (32).

President Obama: 332
Governor Romney: 206

Romney 248

(although it could end up 281-257)

I don't understand your tiebreaker procedure.

I really have no idea and don't think anyone else does, but I'll go with the guess by George Will: Romney 321.

Will is a smart guy but above all immune to the curse of wishful thinking. He's never been afraid to call Republicans as out to lunch.

The fact is that anyone who tries to predict this thing is shooting blind, however.

That is what makes this bipartisan fun. How rare such an animal has become.

The tie breaker is just in case two or more people make the same picks. In this case I have a number tucked away that will determine the winner. Think of it as my House of Representatives
