A Romney debate coach told National Review that Mitt's been practicing very hard to come off as "warm and personable" in tomorrow night's debate.
Mitt's going to wear a sweater, and sing "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood..." (OK, I made that part up... I think )
Romney will share heart-warming anecdotes from the campaign trail, to convince 47%ers that he feels their pain. "This is an opportunity to introduce Romney to the country":
Once in awhile you see him attempt to switch gears and appear caring/warm/nice.
He gets this fake smile and moves forward with his head cocked slightly sideways, while he looks right into the camera with an attempt to be warm. It's so fake and obvious that he is acting.
On the Sunday news shows I heard all of these recommendations from GOP pundits for what he needs to do during the debates:
1. He needs to be more conservative and draw a real distinction between him and Obama.
2. He needs to be more moderate and be the Mitt Romney he was in Massachusetts.
3. He needs to be more personable so people can see the real Mitt Romney.
4. He needs to be serious and Presidential because that's what the people want.
You lefties have cornored the market in lipstick, defending this current admin....
Not difficult to defend Obama's record.... not sure it's easy to defend Romney's only venture into politics............ Mass.......... 47th in Job growth etc.
Maybe some here really do want to go back to the Bush regime and see America implode again, losing around 800,000 jobs per month and going into unwanted wars etc, after all that is what will happen if Romney becomes POTUS.
