Obama's going to have to do much worse to lose. Demographics don't favor Romney and the race still goes through OH/PA/MI/WI
What bounce?

Ya, Obama was smoking weed and Romney was taking speed. We could make a case for both based on their body language.

LOL! Who knows? If it turned out to be true, the die-hards would still vote for him.

Intrade is a prediction market and shouldn't be taken seriously. BTW - Intrade was close to 80% for Obama a few days before the debate. Moreover, I think they said the Republicans had like a 20% chance of taking 60 seats in the House in 2010 a few months before the election. I'm not sure what they said at this point.

Well, the fundamentals don't favor Obama. And whites will still be 72%-73% or so of the electorate most likely. You can cry all you want about the black vote and Hispanic vote, but Obama has to get probably 40% of the white vote - or at least very close to that.

No, it goes through FL/VA/OH/CO/IA most likely. Obama needs PA, MI, and WI, Romney does not. I would like, for once, an explanation of why Romney needs to win PA, MI, or WI to win the election. You say this over and over again, but never explain why when challenged.

Smoking weed is not a bad thing.

I would like a detailed explanation from a liberal about a few things:

1) how the "failed and devastating" Bush policies caused the economic problems

2) which of these Bush policies Obama has not continued

3) why Clinton bears no responsibility for the crisis

4) why Clinton bears no responsibility for the early 2000's recession if Bush is responsible for the late 2000's recession, given that the downturn started while he was still in office and the NASDAQ crash happened when he was still in office

Don't say that tax cuts caused the financial crisis; you can argue that tax cuts caused our debt to go up (I can refute that, but it's a logical argument), but suggesting that tax cuts "for the wealthy" (when they primarily benefited the middle class) caused it is laughable.

Now if you argue that lax regulation caused it, that is logical, but please point exactly what regulations Bush repealed and tell me why they caused the crisis. Please point out why Clinton gets a pass for signing multiple deregulation bills. Point out why Clinton and other Democrats get a pass for trying to make everyone homeowners. Please also point out why the low interest rates we have now are such a good thing (hint - I think we are headed for another similar crisis).

The 2010 election proved that people think Obama's policies are failed and devastating. I hope to see a similar rebuke of Obama's policies in November.

It's not a good thing either. I'm ok with it for medicinal purposes if there was a way to regulate the amount and make sure doctors were actually prescribing it for legitimate reasons. Of course they aren't exactly doing that for strong narcotics either. Obama admitted to cocaine use, so that would be more of a concern than pot, but who wants a high POTUS?

Now - back on track! Back to posting excuses, please.

The demos favor Romney in the states you mentioned though.

Also if Romney wins North Carolina, Florida, Virginia and Ohio he is at 266.

Yes, the polls are showing that, aren't they?
