Romney won

Why even vote for this guy? He's just Obama lite and a RINO.

Funny... he excoriated President Obama for making the decision in the first place. But then, he's a Republican -- if President Obama signed a law banning kitten torture Romney would go ballistic and label it a big-government job-killing act of socialism!

Anyway, I guess he had to think about it for a few months before deciding which way he'd finally go...
Romney Asked Four Times If He’ll Get Rid of Deferred Action, No Clear Answer - COLORLINES

Oh, well... he'll probably flip his position on this issue three more times before sunset today!

This is one issue where neither party is going to take any hard action.

Democrats support letting illegals stay because they want the voters.
Republicans support letting illegals stay because they want the cheap labor.

The loser is the American public.

Yes indeed the American citizen is the big loser in all of this. I would just correct what you said about the Democrats though. Democrats want the Hispanic vote AND the cheap labor. Did you know that there are more rich Democrats than Republicans?

Where are all of the Republicans to defend his position? Of course, if you defend Romney you have to agree with Obama.

Where?!!! In Hollywood?

How do you define "rich"? Why are there so many "rich" contributors that are Republican vs Dem?

Did people actually think Romney was going to deport them as soon as he stepped in office? He may not renew it but he was never going to cancel it.

As far as immigration goes I have a feeling Romney will be more enforcement than he is letting on if there is no sign of a bill that could get through Congress.

Guess he thought 'self deportation' wasn't working as a campaign stance, so the chameleon strikes again.

I don't defend Romney's remarks at all. He needs to make it plain that he will enforce our immigration laws and not reward those who have broken them nor their children with amnesty. My gut tells me he is pandering for some Hispanic votes and will double cross those who think he is turning soft on illegal immigration. I don't like those tactics but it is an election year and both candidates are doing it.

Obama has already shown by his actions what he will do and what he has done. I will wait and see if Romney is just playing the election game. If he turns into another Obama on this issue I will hold him in just as much contempt as I do Obama for pandering away our country for votes.
