Its getting worse by the day for them. Tomorrow will be no better as the hearings start on Libya.

Expect something very ugly from the Left soon

No, I'm not expecting something low and dirty from the left.

Ironic that most of the Obama is a: communist/athiest/muslim/socialist/fascist/etc. threads are NOT from the left.

...just saying.

Yeah, "the left" is too busy focusing on Big Bird while the economy is in the tank, we bleed money for wars and weapons, and our foreign policy is literally killing us.

Need I remind you who brought up Big Bird in the first place?

Nope, I'm well aware that an adult made the mistake of bringing up something that a bunch of children could use as a way to deflect from real issues. But in reality, tax payer money going to an organization that could profitably stand on its own is questionable, regardless of how easy it is to joke about it.

Yep-

It's about time for them to do something crazy, as they are coming to realize that Obama has lost. It is like a trapped animal starting to panic.

Really? It's not a real issue that when Romney was asked just exactly WHAT he would cut from the budget, the only real example he's given so far is PBS, which amounts for 1/100th of 1% of the budget? Wait! I've got it! The cuts are supposed to be a SECRET! It's like a great big surprise package if we elect him! Whoopee!

The right is onto us. Right before we break out the Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques and the pheromone-laced fragrances!

I'm not about to defend Romney's other cuts, but the fact is that PBS is just as good as anything else. All we ever hear is "Oh, well that cut is only [fill in the %] of our total spending, so it wont make a difference" and I'm tired of that...we need to start cutting EVERYWHERE. I've worked at Fortune 100 companies where EVERY department was required to cut 5% from their budgets, no exceptions. If our leadership cant do something similar, then they are either protecting a segment of their voter block, or they just aren't trying too hard. The size of our financial problems dont allow for "warm fuzzy" protective cutting...everything is on the chopping block from Big Bird to Wars and Social Programs. They all need a haircut.
