His joke was making a reference to the birther idea that he was not born here, probably because he subscribes to it or has sympathies to it. Those people incorrectly think that he was born in his dad's native country of Kenya. I wish people would get over it and stop bringing it up.

Are you saying it wasn't classless?

Some birthers certainly are racist - I don't know this individual - perhaps you do?

How was the 47% comment racist -- many in that are white and some from all races. Some people think Obama has had comments that were racist.
