Their site says Obama won the overall debate.
37% Obama
30% Romney
33% tie
I was being pulled in two directions and didn't finish the post
According to an initial poll by CBS: Romney won 65-35 on the economy
You know what they say about winning elections. "It's the economy stupid"
And now CANDY comes out and admits she got the Benghazi issue wrong, and apologized. Her intervention got Obama his biggest reaction of the night, at Romney's expense.
And the moderator not only overstepped her bounds, but in her haste, made a big screw up.
So what is it now.... it was a video before it was a terror attack before it was a "we're still evaluating" before it was a video again before it was a terror attack?
You can clearly tell from the context he is referring to the 47% who don't pay income tax even though he doesn't get around to saying it until have way through.
Romney fumbled the first question (he really rambled there) and badly fumbled on Libya. He had a great chance there and blew it. I think that he did very well on the economy and energy questions. I even think he did pretty well on immigration, which kind of surprised me. On the CNN poll, I was not too surprised by the small win to Obama but did think it would be tighter or have Romney slightly ahead. I think that fumble on Libya really hurt Romney on this debate. However, I do not think it's going to win Obama votes either. Pretty much like the VP debate; it just keeps everything at status quo with respect to national polling.
Personally I think it is pretty clear that the snap polls show Obama as the winner tonight, however what I am interested in is what happens with the actual polls the next few days as I think that will be the true telling of the story tonight.
