Why is is wrong to buy, improve, and sell houses and lots to make money but bad to do the same thing with businesses?

Mitt Romeny was not a businessman, rather a master financial speculator who bought, sold, and stripped businesses

Correct. He stresses that he knows how to run the country because he was "successful" at running businesses. 1. He wasn't successful "running" businesses. He, as you point-out, bought, sold and stripped businesses. Greatly mis-managed them to the point they didn't survive. 2. Running a business, if he had, is not the same as being President of an entire nation and maintaining relationships worldwide. He's demonstrated a lack of ability to get-along and work well with other nations, and with major segments of our own nation. I believe he lacks the character, integrity and job credentials to assume the position he's been applying for. That being President of the United States.

thanks for reminding us of the obvious. . . . . .so many people are willing to ignore those facts, because he is "rich" and wish to emulate that part. I believe that his method of getting "super rich" has harmed many many people, and that Karma will take it's toll. . . . ..

Tell that to the gainfully employed people at:

Staples
Toys R Us
Clear Channel Radio
Dunkin Donuts
Domino's Pizza
The Weather Channel
Burger King
Sealy Mattress

These are just a few of the companies that Bain has successfully purchased or invested in. So unlike the lies liberals tell, Bain capital is NOT about firing people, it is about helping business succeed, or if it is going out of business anyway, to make the most money for investors as possible as the company goes out of business.

so far as these businesses that Bain built. Not one of them does much more than provide entry level wages for their employees. . . . .and a variety of "junk" to their customers. . . . .

There may be a valid place for this in our society, but I don't think I would brag about it. . . . .like the business that Bain destroyed, all "profit" flows immediatly to the top. . . . .leaving thousands "scraping by" or worse.
