RealClearPolitics - Obama & Romney: Favorable/Unfavorable

Romney is at plus 5.4% in favorability; Obama at plus 5%.

It's been a very, very bad month for Oblama, hasn't it? The best part is still to come on November 6th too.

Sounds like the media creation known as Obama...is falling apart at the seams. Even the constant barrage of pro-Obama spin from the MSM for the last 4 years hasn't fooled everyone.

The op was looking at the spread that each candidate has between their favorability and unfavorability ratings, and calling that the favorability rating. For instance, Obama has a 50.8 favorability with a 45.8 unfavorability and a +5 spread (difference between the two). Romney has a 49.7 RCP average favorability with a 44.3 unfavorability, and a +5.4 spread. The OP thought the spread numbers were the favorability numbers.

Your numbers are a little off, but thank you for the link. The link shows only a single point difference in their favorability, so they are basically tied.

Your overall point does stand.

What happened to the media created notion that supposedly everyone likes Obama and nobody likes Romney? Looks like that notion has been debunked.

What we have are people who lie through their teeth because that's all they know how to do, because they're not bright enough to offer comments/arguments/facts which support positions they think they have but don't understand why. This particular forum is probably inhabited by a larger precentage of ignorant people than any other I'm familiar with.

But the site also shows Obama has a higher favorable rating than Romney...did you miss that one or did you just overlook it? Honest mistake I am sure.
