A few of Romney’s most important Wall Street donors made more than $4 billion. Their gains, and the Romneys’, were astronomical—more than 3,000 percent on their investment. Source
Mitt Romney’s opposition to the auto bailout has haunted him on the campaign trail, especially in Rust Belt states like Ohio.
I live in Ohio.
I haven't heard anyone criticize Romney for his position on the auto bailouts.
Democrats aren't even bothering to run attack ads about it. They were at the beginning of the summer but then stopped. Guess no one was buying the lies.
And who cares how much Romney's donors make?
It's not like President Obama doesn't have plenty of billionaires and millionaires throwing money his way.
Sensata workers have asked to meet with Mitt Romney and hoped to enlist his help keeping their jobs in the United States.
Romney refused.
The most important part of the story is that Sensata Technologies is profitable operating in Illinois. Net income last year was $355 million, up 16 percent from 2010. The company reported total revenues of $1.8 billion in 2011, up almost 19 percent from the year before. According to a company financial statement, "both 2011 net revenue and adjusted net income represent record levels for the company."
So this has nothing to do with "making hard choices" in the process of turning around a failing business.
Interesting
Romney has had nothing to do with Bain for almost 14 years, and has no more influence there than you do. All of his assets have been in a blind trust for over ten years, and he legally has no control over anything in his profile.
I'm sure you knew that, but you continue to start meaningless threads about it... Good luck, president Romney appreciates you even though you may be lacking in certain areas...

It's like when they lie about Romney being "greedy".
lols. he didn't take a salary as Governor for 4 years or as Olympic Director for a few more.
If he was greedy he would have stayed at Bain where he could be worth hundreds of millions more than he is.
He did, however, break minumum wage laws, working for free and all.
“Amendments to the tax code need to be crafted in a way that does not encourage corporations to game the system and export jobs or to move their U.S. headquarters abroad” - Mitt Romney
“A territorial system must be designed to encourage the creation of jobs in the United States, not to outsource them.” Source
Clearly the employees don't agree. They asked Mitt to help.
Perhaps this isn't his area of expertise....saving jobs, fighting for the common man...you know - the 47%.
He is not involved in the day-to-day operations or decision making. He's a SHAREHOLDER - an investor!!! If the company is profitable, he stands to make money, if the company is in the red or fails, he stands to lose money. Do you think the shareholders of IBM, Apple, and major corporations actually run the company and make decisions that impact the company?
