So in this survey, they may have called 25000 lines to get 800 people to agree to an interview. You have to wonder about what makes people agree to an interview, don't you? Are they representative of Joe and Jane Voter? I am not picking on this poll, all of them are having the same problem with response rates.
The response rate is a factor in all polls this year. Are the people answering the most engaged thus likely voter screens unnecessary?

just because Biden goes up to MN doesn't mean its in play. Part of this is just solidfying the vote. Granted, I think polls have tightened a bit here in Minny, I still know Obama will win. I'm on the ground, I know what's going on.

The only thing I will say is that if MN is close, Wisconsin and Iowa will be extremely close. MN is the most liberal of the three, plus the GOP party has had some struggles there as of late.

Romney fell in both Rasmussen and Gallup trackers today. And Obama has retaken the lead in the Gallup registered voter survey.

Biden is heading to Minnesota because Romney starting airing ads although GOP operatives admit the ad was targeting voters in western Wisconsin. The president has a healthy lead in both polling and in ground operations in Minnesota. Obama will win Minnesota.

Y'all remember that Murphy Brown episodes where 2 men are arguing and she tells them to just pull down their pants, whip out a ruler, and be done with it already? That's this thread. LOL

Personally I don't believe in cherry picking and parsing poll data every which till Tuesday. Pick some generally reputable ones and then follow the trends. Obama has a small advantage but the race is tight and in some cases tightening even more. So we won't know what's up til Election Day, especially with a big ol hurricane distracting a huge chunk of the electorate right now. Still if the vote was held today Obama would very likely win.

Obama's stimulus even spent almost $1 million giving blackberry phones to people trying to quit smoking.
