I don't think people are praising Obama's 1st term, they just don't want to vote for Romney. He is the epitome of everything wrong financially in this country.

Even the insiders of the GOP are saying Obama will likely win. According to Mark Halperin and Mike Allen, who watch politics very closely. But, we will see next week. Of course the Repubs will blame it on the storm, but I think we all know it will be because of the empty candidate.

I think Romney/Ryan is toast.
Chris Christie has always been out to sabotage the Romney ticket because of his 2016 aspirations. From his speech at the RNC you could tell that he cares nothing about this GOP ticket. A romney loss tuesday propels him to GOP front-runner status for 2016. Paul Ryan's 2016 aspirations take a hit by being tied to a loser like Romney.

As long as Ohio stays the same or increases for Obama, expect Intrade to go up even more in favor of Obama.

Remember that last minute plea from Ann Coulter, "Chris Christie please run, or Romney will be the nominee and we will lose."

This election was a layup for a good republican nominee, but that wasn't what the base wanted. They wanted someone who told the TEA party was right on everything.

Look, there is still a chance for a Romney win, but I think its shrinking.

I've said all along that Romney was a weak candidate.

We will see.

Good thing the actual voters get to weigh in on this question.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post puts Ohio back into the tossup category, peeling it away from "leaning Obama." Tally 237-206 Obama, balance in tossup status.

RCP average now has it deadlocked & Obama still leading in crucial swing states Romney MUST have. The writings on the wall. I'd suggest GOP'ers go ahead and start their excuse list now....that mittmentum is now long gone.

AP polled on who can best fix gridlock in Washington.

Romney by 10.

So much for the new era of good feelings, circa 2008.

The Associated Press: Who can fix political gridlock? Poll favors Romney

538 this morning has Obama over 300 on projected electoral vote and at 79% chance of winning the election, the highest it has been in some time. Gallup will be back today and more Rasmussen surveys will be coming in that favor Romney, so we will see how things shape up later.

A steady 21 day deterioration in his chances of winning to 21%. It's over. Obama is just going about helping with the storm recovery and Romney isn't able to grab on to any issue to stir things up.
