I live in Illinois, so Obama has it wrapped up. I will vote for Gary Johnson as I have voted Libertarian in all 3 past elections (at least for the POTUS).

But why do these "random problems" somehow always wind up favoring Democrats?
I seem to remember back in 2000 and 2004 an awful lot of voting machines favoring Republicans. Not to mention a certain CEO of a certain well known electronic voting machine company shooting his mouth off about how he'd do "anything" to help a certain Republican win the election.

And then there was the article about the non-partisan group who got their hands on a machine from that specific company and found that the software code miscounted votes leading several districts to stop using the machines totally.

But I guess "always" is only about the past ten minutes these days?

It's hard to know which of these stories is legit any more, but the gist seems to be that Romney allegedly lied under oath about the net worth of Tom Stemburg, and the value of Staples shares, and the ex-wife got very little in the divorce. Romney also had shares in Staples at the time. I guess we'll have to see if the documents are going to be made public to verify.

Mitt Romney

I want to make sure I understand this.

We shouldn't vote for Romney because he once had a business arrangement with someone who either got or was on the verge of getting a divorce.

Do I have that right?

OK, then.

As for as Mrs. 0bama, there's never been any doubt in my mind that the marriage was set up and is a sham. I'm equally certain Mr. 0bama is gay.

jmho.

A vote for Johnson is a guaranteed vote for obama.

You won't be voting for GJ you will be voting for Obama.

You will be voting for Obama and all he stands for!!

How does that make you feel?
Wrong! My vote for Johnson is just that... A vote for Johnson! And it makes me feel great in knowing that neither will get my vote, as I feel neither candidate is the answer for this country!

If that is all it is (if true) why would the Globe get involved?
