I haven't seen him in a while. Why haven't Republicans asked him to hit the campaign trail? Do you think W would be able to sell Romney and his economic policies to Ohio and Florida voters?

Clinton is the 1st previous president I remember ever seeing campaign for a sitting president, why is that, can Obama not sale himself to the public and has to bring in a president that was much more popular then him?

Maybe Romney and Bush figure they are both different guys, and that Romney and his policies can stand on their own without anybody making apologies for his past 4 years.

Bush has already said that he'd not be campaigning because he's enjoying being out of politics....something CLINTON can't wrap his head around because Clinton LOVES the limelight too much.

Trust me...Bush campaigning for Romney...could only help Obama.

It'd be like asking Carter to campaign for Obama!

It's "sell." That's the proper verb usage.

But they are the same exact policies...

Tax Cuts
Increased military spending
Vouchercare
Elimination of regulations banning proprietary trading in Wall Street firms
Privatization of Social Security
Military Force in the Middle East
Overturning Roe v. Wade

Since Bush won two terms on that platform, why wouldn't Romney want him out there stumping? Or any Republican for that matter.

He won TWO terms. The American people voted for him TWICE, including many of the posters on this Board. Why not bring him to the fore?
