Can anyone believe the White House did not know a terrorist attack was taking place, as it happened? If you do, then you also believe that a Department Secretary has the power to commit U.S. troops to combat. You also believe that the thought was given to committing troops, and the White House was not told. Yet Secretary Panetta is saying intelligence was lacking to commit troops in the linked article.

Oh sure, the President hedged his bets in the Rose Garden the next day, though it is more likely that he just used a throw away line on terrorism, that happened to come in handy down the line, when the lie began to unravel. But, then why you ask was the rest of the administration so steadfastly blaming videos, protests getting out of hand, and so on, for the next two weeks? Carney, Rice, Obama himself before the U.N., and on that stellar political show, The View.

The congressman who shouted out, "You lie.", at the first State of the Union, was sadly correct. That lie was just the beginning.

Panetta

Another lying POS.

They were getting phone calls from those under attack as is was frigging happening. A decision was made to not go in under the cover of darkness. I guarentee those that died were told to hold on as long as posssible. Hunker down mother ****ers, put your head between your legs and kiss your ass good bye.

I think the average American associates Libya with that scene in Back to the Future where Doc gets shot. Its associated with violence so this happening isnt necessarily a huge game changing shocker you'd like it to be. People hearing about this happening isnt going to move the needle to Romney. Plus, if you want to be consistent, be outraged that Bush ignored threats prior to 9/11.

Are you joking or what? Bush isn't President anymore. The jackwagon Obama failed our country and then blatantly lied about what happened in Libya. You think voters won't be swayed by this? You're right. The Obama voters that are still waiting on their free Obama phones won't be swayed.
