Federal officials say that absentee ballots being sent to U.S. military serving in Afghanistan may have been burned in a plane crash.
Federal officials in their email to state election offices said they did not know if any ballots were destroyed. They also said the lost mail was limited to one zip code.
But they recommended that election officials resend a new ballot to anyone who requested one since the first ballot may have been destroyed in the crash and fire.
So let me get this straight, this was mail being sent to the troops, limited to one zip code, and could of had unused ballots on the plane meaning they should be able to resend those ballots to the troops and still have their votes counted.
Or in other words, fake outrage from the Cons over what it says in the title, not what it says in the content....that sounds about right. Keep up the good fight Cons, it looks like you are staying the course of being uninformed.
Unfortunately you have been brainwashed by Obama. He is the only one saying Romney wants a war in Iran. Have you not figured out yet that Obama lies constantly? And the military by far favors Romney.
I guess what Romney said in the primaries only earlier this year doesn't count for you?
Maybe on bulls*** mountain. Obama has been stomping Willard in contributions from the troops. Why would they support a warmonger like Willard that wants to send them to Iran?
Once again, you say something so easily disputed, that its almost impossible to think that you dont post this crap on purpose, just to have others tell you that you're wrong.
I hope everyone is OK and there were no deaths or injuries. Using this accident to score political points is sick.
Where is the scandal? The plane crashed sometime on the 19th and on the 24th the FVAP sent a press release saying that "we do not know if there were any ballots in the destroyed mail" but we have "sent an email to all local election officials recommending that if they sent any ballots to the zip code 09382 (Shindand, Farah, and Camp Stone), they should contact the voter and resend a new ballot, as the first ballot may have been destroyed in the crash and fire."
