Trump always reminds me of Samuel Johnson's dictum, "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel". Is he lying about Romney? Better question, "Does he know how to tell the truth"?

You want to know where the jobs will go under a Romney administraton? Here's a clue:

Here Trump is, getting his chops busted on Letterman. As soon as he gets through telling the world how China is ruining America's economy, Letterman points out to him that the Trump tie in his hand came from China.

Trump's support would be the kiss of death for Romney if we had a sane voting population.

A sane voting population would have never voted for Dumbo.

no ones endorsement is a good or bad reason for voting for anyone.....It is one persons opinion, end of stroy!!!!!!Would Alec Baldwins endorsement of Obama be a good reason to not vote for him? See how silly the OP sounds???

I'll say Trump's endorsement of Romney would be about as helpful as Hugo Chavez' endorsement of Obama. Come to think of it, Chavez reminds me of Trump, and vice versa.

So, I guess I agree with Nita on this one.

That is not necessarily true, sometimes those who are endorsing a specific person can give you a glimpse into who the person will have around them. I can honestly say with a straight face that whoever trump supports is someone that would not be good for this country. Trump is a buffoon of the highest order and the other birthers that follow are just as bad.

I refer to the axiom re-phrased 'Vote for the man you know rather than for the man who doesn't know himself.' As a woman, a mother, a grandmother and solidly in the middle class, I could never vote for MR who couldn't share a value with me if he had one.

Let's stick to this year's election and not take things back to 2000.

I don't think Trump's endorsement means much, but it does matter that Romney chose to haul Trump around the country with him on campaign trips, had him do stump speeches for him, and had him host campaign fundraisers. You can't control who supports you, but you have absolute control over who you allow to represent your campaign. Putting "the Donald" in a leadership role is sleazy enough on it's own, but then for Romney to just stand there and say nothing when Trump launched that awful birther attack this week says volumes about Romney--he's a gutless coward with zero decency.

My mother always said that the company you keep speaks volumes about your character...or lack of it. It looks like Trump and Romeny are a match made from the bottom of a garbage pail.

Trump's an ego-maniac. But I'm still voting Romney.
