Umm, Nixon was better than Obozo anyway. Nixon ended Vietnam, so, he did some good.

What did Obama expect ? After all, he did snub the hell out of them.

Nixon, along with his GOP staff being charged with federal crimes and resigning from office is better than Obama? Oh that's right, he had an (R) next to his name so that makes it OK

Note how the Obamaphites have to immediately whine, "Oh yeah? Well the Chicago Tribune endorsed Obama!"

Bwahahahaha!

The idiots in Chicago elected Rambo Dead Fish Emanuel Mayor, too.

Last night I had a dream in which Romney won by a LANDSLIDE - 54% to 44% Let's see how close the final numbers match up.

Apart from what the OP is trying to show, Obama is getting more endorsements than Rmoney:

2012 General Election Editorial Endorsements by Major Newspapers

While the Des Moines Register may have endorsed Romney when they endorsed Obama in 2008, the San Antonio Express-News endorsed Obama when the endorsed McCain in 2008.

The vast number of newspapers who endorsed Obama in 2008, did so again in 2012. The vast number of newspapers who endorsed McCain in 2008, endorsed Romney. There are no real surprises here nor the 'gotcha' that the OP is selling.

Awesome link, so, in 2008 papers that endorsed obama, a total of 9 of those now endorse Mitt.

One more thing obama is losing at.

And the Salt Lake City newspaper - in the heartland of Mormonism - endorsed Obama. That may say more about the candidates than the Des Moines Register endorsement does. Because, the Mormon's control that city and the state and the paper stepped forward, as did the Chicago Tribune, to question just who is Mitt Romney and what does he really stand for?

As I said earlier, all of these newspaper endorsements probably don't have much weight with voters, but the do provide 'bragging' rights.
