If the polls are accurate, Obama will win the electoral college by a hair in some of the battleground states and will win a second term. It's still up in the air who wins the popular vote. Some national polls already have Obama back in the lead because of the bump he got from the last debate.

Doesn't amount to much after the big bump in the road he's hitting with the Benghazi debacle.

That will hit him like a brick.

Lightbulb If Romney wins popular vote but not electoral?

I'd expect to see flying pigs.

Know what I'm sayin'?

Nope-

It is the law. I believe in the wisdom of the electoral college and understand why it is in place.

We won't need to worry. Obama gets 218 electoral votes with a range of 158- 232.

Id accept the result but Id also see it as a positive sign. That there plenty of people who were sick of Obama and ready to move away from him. It would be a somewhat positive sign for the country. Of course, id rather have Romney just win the Electoral vote. I dont see Obama winning the Popular vote no matter what happens.

I couldn't agree more about the wisdom behind the electoral college. I just heard another 'debate' about election by popular vote, this morning, on Up with whatever, Chris Hayes and company on MSNBC. More tripe about democracy, and fairness. How quickly folks forget the founders wanted to guard against mob rule; i.e. democracy.

Not smart as you in predicting the outcome. We'll see.

He won't win the electoral if he loses the popular vote. It rarely happens. Loser talk.

I honestly think that no matter how Obama wins, Republicans will cry voter fraud. They already are claiming that the only way Obama -can- win is voter fraud.
