Obama and Romney do not need any personal donations, because the corporations are already funding both.

Romney spoke of addressing climate change before the Koch Bros. hands were up his derriere. He has vowed to cancel tax breaks for alternative energy sources and continue outlandish tax breaks for big oil.

Romney promises to end FEMA and privitize disaster relief to enrich cronies and yet without FEMA the northeast would be literally up the creek without a paddle, ask Governor Christie today if he's not grateful for FEMA.

Romney asks for canned goods when it's been made clear to him that this is not the 1950's and a check would be a better choice...unless of course he can personally deliver the cans himself on his tour bus.

Why isn't Romney in N.J. or N.Y? These are the places that were hit hardest. No, he is in Ohio so that he can further lie about the auto industry sending jobs to China even though he has been called out on it several times. In ohio because if he does not win Ohio, he's done!

No OP, there is no nobility in Myth Romney. The sooner he gives his concession speech the better. He bores and annoys the crap out of me and his incessant pathological lying makes one's ears bleed.

uhmm he has been using his tour bus to deliver aid.
as for going to NY/NJ Travel bans may have prevented this.
Can goods? FOOD. Food is always needed.
Cash/ Check/ Trump? How many of their millions has Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Feinstein, Rangal or robert Casey donated? Are you demanding the same from them?

and 0bama fired back and asked people to donate to his campaign instead, and offered a foot note to add this to his "Event Registry"

The Obama 2012 event registry- Barack Obama

Instead of another gift card you’ll forget to use, ask your friends and family for something that will go a little further: a donation to Obama for America. Register your next celebration—whether it’s a birthday, bar or bat mitzvah, wedding, or anniversary—with the Obama campaign. It’s a great way to show your support for a cause that’s important to you on your big day.

Kudos for taking the initiative, to ask for money for the SANDY relief effort instead of campaign donations!

President Mitt Romney has asked his supporters & others to please join him, in supporting the relief effort
Hurricane Sandy.

He has established a link on his web site to donate to people in distress. Instead of accepting donations for his campaign. Please check out the link above. Once you click on the link, you will see the American Red Cross & SANDY.

He has also asked everyone to come together in this crisis, and help one another.

God bless him for his wonderful efforts, wisdom, heart!
I am so inspired! He did this right from the get go!

I pray that all in the path of the storm, will be able to recover.

Stay safe, dry & inside!
Some people have perished, unfortunately because they ventured outside & a tree fell on them.

My thoughts & prayers to all involved. 16 Dead so far in the US Over 60 in the Caribbean.... Sad!!

Romney has a heart and the proper breeding of a true gentleman. Two things Obama is clearly lacking.

So, when Romney refused to take pay as governor of MA, was he just playing us for suckers?

Btw, I'd be willing to bet that a President Romney would do the same.

He'l probably get there. They're finding a good place for a photo op where he can roll up his sleeves and try and look like he knows how to use a shovel. Or a chain saw.

If Christie's smart he won't let them use this tragedy (or him) for political purposes. Either side. This isn't the time for that.

And you'd fall for it again.

The man is so desperate to be president, of course he'd be willing to forgo the pay. It's just a drop in the bucket to him anyway.

Why won't Mitt Romney have a $50000 per plate fundraiser for victims of the disaster instead of collecting plastic bags of canned foods worth totaling $5 bucks! Why? because it's not for his campaign!
