Did it a while back. Now just waiting for the results of next week. There is a possibility of the Dems retaking the House, now that would be something!

I did on Saturday, it was my only option as my commute wouldn't get me to either work on time or get me to the polls on time after work.

I voted early last Tuesday, 2nd day of early voting in Texas. The place was busy with a diverse crowd of style, fortune, and/or race.

I've been voting early in Texas since the first year it was available and will continue to do so.

The Austin American-Statesman indicates that early voting is brisk with "about" 55% of vote going to Romney for Prez, and Ted Cruz for Senate.

I did the same thing, both to research the issues and also to be able to vote from the comfort and convenience of my own home. And we are not "geeks", we are independent thinkers!

I was listening to an interesting discussion on NPR earlier today. Said that the electoral system actually needs early voting because it helps avoid overloading the polling places on election day.

Since my state is bright blue it really didn't matter how I voted so I struggled between the candidate that could stop Obama and the Libs (Romney) and the candidate who I preferred but can't get elected (Johnson)...either way a wasted vote but some of the other candidates for other offices votes may have an effect.

I like to vote on election day. The spectacle of a community coming together to participate in the democratic process is something that I simply enjoy witnessing.

That said, I wholeheartedly approve of early voting and absentee ballots and voting by mail.
