Um, this has been going on for a while now. I recall ads for this going back to 2004, and it's one of their very few talking points for black people that aren't overtly racist.

The funny part isn't that the modern GOP is trying to sell us their Bizarro MLK, it's that they keep expecting us to fall for it. It's like that "you're on the democrat plantation" garbage they continue to toss out. The point isn't to recruit black people into the party, it's to make white republicans feel good and open their wallets. It's a good hustle, all in all.

Popular running Republicans will utilize any dirty tactic to "woo" any minority group by downplaying their agenda and appealing to people's emotional hotspots.

Phonies sensationalize and twist history for a reason.

How is stating a fact a "dirty trick" and how is it "twisting history?"

Mr. King was for opportunity, jobs, equality, justice.
He was NOT a communist Czar like the current unqualified manipulator, Pres. O.
Mr. King had balls, courage, conviction, common sense. O has none. zilch. nodda.

The current unqualified Czar has no redeeming qualities, besides being a puppet for the bankers and globalist. Oh yeah...he looks pretty and can read his script on a teleprompter.
All a big show. Zero substance.

You zealots have destroyed a once great nation. Shame on you.
"Ship is taking on water. Bail. bail. bail."
The current Czar captain is telling you "all is well" and how great he is. While cold sea water is up to your chin. Yet you morons follow blindly.
Comrade Czar O. is out to intentionally and systematically destroy America civilization.
He is right on track with his "change."

Mr. King would be a Republican because it is slightly less of two evils. Both parties suck.

Would have better advised to use a photo of the Republicns in Congress voting to pass the Civil Rights Act that the Democrats would not.

People seemed to have forgotten MLKs history - his purpose and cause, or are too young to know about MLK. He wanted to bring black people out of poverty, get an education and improve their standing in society. What black people may not realize is that democrats found another way to suppress black people - make welfare a lifestyle. That was democrats "helping" poor black people.

Dems are outraged that Romney reminds people that MLK was a republican, but no outrage towards Michael Moore who campaigns for Obama creating a commercial with a black woman, a senior citizen, using foul language who is going to c**kpunch Romney in the nu*sack. Is that how black people want to be exploited?

People seem to be ignoring that King was killed while supporting a union strike. Not something you would expect from a Republican. The fact is if King had lived I seriously doubt his political positions would differ much from his cohort Jessie Jackson's.
