We invested heavily in hope back in 2008.

Our 2012 endorsement of Mitt Romney comes with an imperative for change.

The change that we’d hoped would elevate our economy wound up woefully short. The presidential gambit to place health-care reform ahead of economic recovery jeopardized both. President Barack Obama expended all of the presidential leadership on muscling through health care reform, leaving little for implementation and none for significant economic recovery.

Yet another swing state newspaper flips endorsements. Another great day for Romney Ryan today.

Plus, the PPP poll shows Obama underwater by 8 points!!! ONE MORE WEEK TILL HE GETS FIRED!

there is no PPP poll with obama underwater by 8 points, your making it up.

which is it with you? do endorsements matter or not? 1 week ago you said they mean nothing. now you are posting every newspaper that endorses romney and saying how important they are.

I should have been more clear about the PPP poll. The 8 points I was referring to was the approval to disapproval rating. Here's the summary from business insider:

Quote:

Consider the following numbers:
  • Obama's approval-to-disapproval rating sits at just 44-52, which is actually worse than Gallup's tracking on Saturday.
  • Obama is losing the favorability battle, which has been a key strength for him throughout the campaign. His favorable-to-unfavorable rating sits underwater at 46-50.
  • Romney's favorable rating, on the other hand, is a positive 49-45.
  • Romney leads the self-identified Independent vote by an astounding 16 points. Among this crucial group, Obama's approval-to-disapproval is 33-60, and Romney's favorability is 53-37.

Looks like Iowa will go to Romney. Newspaper endorsements don't matter but if its a switch in politically astute Iowa folks will take notice.

What's amusing is that EVERY major poll has Obama's approval rating waaay under 50%. Yet the Obama campaign's disinformation specialists have a thread here on C-D that says his approval rating is at 50%.

Here's my advice to the left: lying to yourselves about the election isn't going to change the outcome. Obama is about to get canned, and he deserves to.

All four major Iowa newspapers endorsed Romney over Obama. That will have some impact, and every little bit matters.

Iowa is starting to look a lot like 2004, Romney doing well in MN and especially MO has me optimistic about IA.
