Going out in style, I see, by fear-mongering to evangelicals on a conference call.

"Obama’s policies on health care and religious freedom are a “dangerous path,” Ryan, a Catholic, told members of the Faith and Freedom Coalition. “It’s a path that grows government, restricts freedom and liberty and compromises those values, those Judeo-Christian, Western civilization values that made us such a great and exceptional nation in the first place. We should not have to sue the federal government to keep our constitutional freedoms,” he said. “Imagine what he would do if he actually got reelected. It just puts a chill down my spine.”

Ryan is an absolute turd of a man.

Wow, thanks! I feel even better about voting for this man as Vice President tomorrow. I agreed with every word he spoke. Rather than resort to classy scatological name-calling, how about explaining why you disagree with him?

People who embrace fear-mongering can't also be receptive to logic, so I'll pass.

Likewise. Ryan saved the ticket for me too.

She thinks it's self-evident. Isn't everyone supposed to be against "those Judeo-Christian, Western civilization values"?

Oh, I can't. I'm too busy reading about the role of Christians in the founding of democracy in Athens. So interesting, don't you think?!

Oh, did Ryan say that? We must've missed it. You certainly didn't quote it.

Or are you trying to portray Ryan as believing that "Judeo-Christian values" and "Western civilization" are exactly the same thing? Tsk, tsk, that's not honest!

So, what is your point in creating a new thread if you are incapable of actually discussing thoughts and ideas? Just want to name call?

Certain elements will not be happy until the US is a full-fledged theocracy; this is more frightening than anything Obama has ever said.
