Dude, whoever this Mr. Silver is, he had a one in two chance of getting it right. Just like the rest of us.

I've no clue who he is nor do I care.

Probably one of those MSNBC fools.

No, you're wrong. He called every single state correctly, assuming Florida goes blue. That is not a one in two chance.

Yes. Really.

Oh yeah... and he also happens to be a statistical genius, but you forgot to mention that.

You're no math scholar, let me tell you!

You must buy lottery tickets because you think you have a 50/50 chance of becoming a millionaire... after all, every ticket can only win or lose, right?

Hehehehe...I am enjoying watching the heads explode.

Seriously, the dude is amazing. Not only for being an epic numbers guy, but also he likes to explain things. His blog posts are like scientific journal articles. Well reasoned, informative, detailed. He has a lot of gifts. I just finished his book, which talks about predicting hurricanes, earth quakes, baseball, poker, economics, climate change,etc.,etc. Great stuff, and damn interesting.

A gifted man. Making guys like Dick Morris, Dean Chambers, Karl Rove, Joe Scarborough, and Michael Barone all look like the bs artists they are.

Watching Karl Rove have a temper tantrum on live TV had to be the best thing I've viewed in ages. Goes to show that trying to make reality conform to your biases will eventually get the best of you.
