Ehh.. it used to get to me but the re-election was all I needed to ignore them. I was really worried Romney would win and the 12 million jobs that are predicted regardless of who became President would make Romney look like the savior.

I honestly don't know.

But any violence will be their ultimate undoing.

As distasteful as their points of view are they still have the right to express them.

People are much less tolerant of the type of violence that White supremacists have traditionally used in the past. Violence would actually turn even more public opinion against them.

I had to ask because I thought about some of the violence that was being perpetrated by members of Golden Dawn in Greece.

And their support has almost doubled in 6 months, while the establishment parties decline.

They are sending a clear message: Greece is for the Greeks. They are setting an example for other European nations to follow. Liberalism is killing Europe, nationalism and ethnic pride will save them.

So you support Nazism and violence? Better yet, why haven't you answered the last questions I asked you?

I think what has scared me is that I've even heard some of these comments from people who were suppose to be my friends. Kind of hurt me in some ways.

Yep, worked on the OFA campaign near the end and I was shocked to find a few of my friends had some very extreme views. Not just leaners but full out Obama's a Kenyan born Muslim socialist... You could almost tell who was a faux spews watcher by their comments.

The night of the election, I got alot of things I didn't want to hear. Me and another friend vowed not to discuss the election on facebook (via statuses). We both stuck to it. However, there were other people who were discussing it on facebook. A few people were sane about it, not bashing the candidates or going crazy. Those persons basically said "God's in control". Others, however, were not as nice. I could tell some people were not happy. However, it was certain posts that hurt me. I expected complaints about the results. However, there were about two people who posted some racist things about President Obama. These were supposedly my friends. Bad enough that I saw racist stuff on twitter, but when it's people you know, and it's on facebook, it hurts. One guy put a picture portraying the President as a gorilla smoking a joint. Another person put something up, not only claiming that the President was "Kenyan born", but it had some stereotypical elements, basically telling the president to "run" instead of "fly" back to Kenya. These were people who I went to school with, who I thought were cool.

I think we can both relate to this. This is part of why I get on edge about things like this. I have to wonder who my friends are.

About the only thing I posted on FB on a regular basis were pleas for ppl to vote early with directions in how to do so. Actually on a daily basis. I figured the more votes cast the better dems do.

I "liked" positive messages but seldom reported anything. I had talked with two rep. friends early on and they said mittens wasn't their man. Didn't see the need to rub it in.

By the end I had to block 4 ppl the went too far and I offered an in-law a sharply worded reply to a nasty post. He backed away and had a positive back and forth, he was watching too much faux and was repeating those lies. Glad I didn't have to defriend him.

I never posted anything. I wanted to keep my political opinions to myself because facebook is the last place I want to discuss politics. I pretty much knew who was going to vote for whom based on knowing those persons.

I too deleted a few people(the ape/joint picture and the "fly back to Kenya" posts). I felt like those persons were insulting my race.

When the election was over, I pretty did what would normally do. I stayed out of everyone's way. I think you're either braver than me, or less sensitive than me.
