After several Republican losses on both House, Senate, and some State losses (not to mention the national election as well), what will the Republican party do?

Will they recalibrate their view points and expel the religious zealots that have permeated into their ranks? Will the Tea Party's anger finally dissipate over time when unemployment drops some more and Wall Street is taken to task along with taxes *finally* on the top 1%?

It's pretty clear that America is now more middle and to the left than being on the right on social issues. Remains to be seen where we are on fiscal issues.

Curious to hear what the Conservative posters, Republican posters, Republican-In-Name-Only posters, and Right Wing Nut Jobs have to say about this.

What will they do?

I'll tell you.

Sit around proclaiming this nation is going to hell. Sit around and scream that the liberal
Media is out to get them. Scream that liberal brainwashing took over everyone.

Then they will blame Americans and the country. ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to shift the blame from themselves.... Which is what they accuse Obama of doing!

The GOP should ditch the Tea party NOW! The GOP's extremist policies often influenced by christian fundamentalists cost Romney the presidency.

The negotiations regarding the fiscal cliff are a top priority for the American people, let's hope that the GOP and the Democrats realise that the public interest should come before party ideology.

I'm betting that the Tea party reps will try to destroy the American economy just to make the goverment look bad, that was what they tried to do last time, with the result that America's credit rating was downgraded.

The GOP has got to ditch these dinosaurs, if the don't, they will become unelectable.

The conservative individual will continue to be displeased over these next few years, but the party as a whole has put itself within the noose. 2016 will decide if they would like to join the rest of the world or hang themselves.
