I'm not sure if someone has posted this article yet but the potential candidates for the 2016 race have already been postulated. The natural follower to Obama will be Hillary (sorry, Joe) and she will stand a VERY good chance at winning. Jeb Bush is popular with the GOP establishment, he is very popular in Florida, and he has historically polled well with the Latino community as he is very moderate on immigration reform.

Would this be a close race? Would Bush's name damn him?

Last time a Clinton and a Bush went toe to toe, the Bush lost, I would love to see Hillary run for president and be our first woman president.

Neither thanks.
Seriously, I will not vote for Clinton. That would be ethically wrong (Bill Clinton said you get two for the price of one, and I took him on his word). The only person who could force me to do it, would be another Bush. This all smacks of the thinking an a banana republic.

How about Christie, Rubio, or Bloomberg against Castro, Warren, or VillaRaigosa? Give someone else a friggin chance!!!!!!

Nope and Nope. We don't need presidential dynasties.

It would be an interesting race. Traditionally the Democrats poll very well with Latino voters but Bush is popular with Hispanics in Florida and has a pretty respectable record on immigration reform. That alone would alter the dynamics of the race.

Yeah, I don't see either one being nominated, even if they run. In 2004, everyone was predicting a 2008 race of Guiliani vs Hillary, and you see how that turned out. Too early to say who will be there in four years.

I think Bill would be the only one that would enjoy that. I think there is a 40% chance Hillary runs and I do think she gets the nomination if she wants it. I don't see any signs Jeb is interested at this point.

Christie: good but too fat (I don't care but the voters are fickle) and too Northeastern in his delivery, kinda like Guiliani. That stuff doesn't go over well in the rest of the country. A good executive, though.

Rubio: Will right wing whites really vote for a Hispanic?

Bloomberg: Again, very Northeastern, VERY elite, but a good executive.

Warren: Way too liberal, Northeastern, and elite. A female liberal Harvard professor? No way. She'd be crushed by anyone short of David Duke

The other people I don't know enough to comment on.

I think Hillary would do better than Bush, because her name has a good Presidency (besides the philandering) behind it.

The Bush family will be looked on less and less kindly as years go by.
