Another atheist ideologue making insane predictions and then following them up with equally senseless reasoning.

Well then it seems we have 2 point of views on this topic and for the success of Reagan there will be folk who want to believe what they want to.

Any combination dooms the hapless GOP. There isn't a GOP candidate alive who could compete.

His was one of the greatest economic boons in history! Look up YUPPIE (young upwardly mobile professionals) for the proof that trickle down works. His policies crushed the USSR, and repaired the damage that Carter inflicted on us.

You must be too delusional to remember just how good his second term was.

As for the debt ceiling, it was his bargain with the DNC that raised the debt ceiling so they could spend, spend, spend. That is the way the DNC has operated for fifty years; Tax and spend, tax and spend.

Look how well voting in a guy because his skin is black has worked out. Don't you think it's time for all sides to actually put forth competent candidates? The fact that you'd still vote based on sexual preference and skin colors says a lot about your decision making skills.

Hillary has proven herself utterly useless when it comes to management and decision making. She shut the door on her shoe in when she had that meltdown over Benghazi. The fact that four heroes died needlessly with her in charge... well, it does matter!

No matter who is President is, these kind of operation go on all the time for the sake of National Defense or US Interest. Some must do the dirty work. We do live in the world where not everybody plays by the same rules.
Regardless to popular believe, the office of President is more than shooting hoops or playing golf with Tiger.

I guess we were in alternate universes and there was something you missed! For the record I am glad you will not respond, its a waste of time.
You crack me up the way you speak out of both sides of your mouth. First you complain about Hillary and the Bengazi operation THEN you turn around and say "No matter who is President is, these kind of operation go on all the time for the sake of National Defense or US Interest. Some must do the dirty work. We do live in the world where not everybody plays by the same rules". Make up your mind. Either you support covert ops or you don't. Bengazi was a covert op that went bad - sometimes that happens, it's a dangerous and risky business.

Regarding the rest of your "facts" - they are just plain WRONG. We did NOT have "double digit unemployment" during the Carter years. The highest it hit under Carter was 7.8% in July of 1980. The double digit UE rate you mention didn't come about until Reagan had been in office for over a YEAR AND HALF, when in Sept of 1982 the UE rate climbed to over 10%. Though Reagan ENDED with a very low UE rate, for his first 6 years it rarely dropped below 7% and for his first 5 years it NEVER dropped below 7%.

Unemployment Rate - US | Portal Seven

It IS true that inflation was high under Carter (as it was during the first 2 years and (to a lesser extent) the last 18 months or so of the Reagan years, but the really high UE rates were purely a "Reagan years" thing rather than a "Carter years" thing.

Historical Inflation Rates: 1914-2014, Annual and Monthly Tables - US Inflation Calculator

Though the Reagan years ENDED pretty well, for most of his 2 terms the economy was not really very good - and whether you want to admit it or not, it's the same pattern Obama is tracing - with a booming stock market but struggling UE rate throughout most of their 2 terms - and like Reagan, Obama will likely finish his 2nd term with a UE rate pretty low.

LOL
"Let's leave it at that" - in other words, you don't like what the RECORDED FACTS say, what his OWN STAFF SAID, etc, etc, etc - so "let's just ignore all that and simply accept that nmnita says it's 'all untrue".
YEAH, RIGHT!!!!!

Brilliant post. Almost worth the time it took to type it. Did you snort with satisfaction as you masterfully stroked the keys?
