Greatest thing to ever happen... I put that right there with Obama being the worst thing that every happened, unnecessary hyperbole unsupported by history.

By Mitt Romney not being elected has to be the greatest thing, IMHO, that has ever happened to America. I think it shows that the general populace is finally getting it. Also, in all this, i predict there will be a new era of "unionism" but with far-reaching implications.

No, I am simply saying, good or bad, it isn't the greatest thing that ever happened. If Romney had been elected I doubt anyone would have made such a dippy statement as "this is the greatest moment in our history" the remark is just plain diggy.

I didn't vote for Mitt Romney and wouldn't unless he and I were the only two people eligible to run (I wouldn't want the job), so obviously I'm no fan.
But if some tiny little part of you truly believes that this is the greatest thing that has ever happened to America, I suggest you put your little game of sports fan politics on hold for a little while and work on getting a life.

Wouldn't it be great if people cared about what was best for the country rather than what political party was in charge? News flash: Both parties care more about maintaining control than fixing what's wrong with our country. Lesser of two evils is still evil and all that. We can only hope. Those most worst off are the least consistent voters. Some of these GOP governors need to be voted out. Starting here, in WI. We'll see if turnout is sufficient to do it. As our resident pollster at Marquette Univ. has said, WI has 7% who like Barack Obama and Governor Walker. I'm not so sure about the Walker part - we'll find out. He was retained primarily because of voter anathema to recalls.

The best part of willard being defeated is that his 'ol lady said that willard is finished with politics, but she could have fooled me, because he's still out there making stupid statements and sticking his foot in his mouth, so, I'll believe it when willard melds back into his rich basket.
