Like someone said earlier.. the GOP ruins on a "family values" platform. The guy disappeared for a week... that's some crack head, craziness... but let him run. It should be entertaining.

Would you like to tell us why you feel that way, or are you just ranting with no way to back up your comments?

or maybe pull my chain;

I think as a die in the wool Republican I can see there are problems within the party and I know we need to make some adjustments, but both of the major parties go through their good and bad times. We will be back before you can shake your head...Our daily paper had a letter today, from a Republican that mentioned we need to get over listening to the Rove and Dana Parino (spelling) types: he was right. I do love to watch her, but she is not the PR or press sec anymore, she doens't have to just smile and Rove is a jerk...

In what world do republicans consistently kick their trash to the curb ?

Uh, huh. The Repubs do a great job of kicking their trash to the curb. That's why we all saw Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum running for President and why a losing 2008 retread lost once more.

At least Bill stayed married. Newt kicked his human wife off the curb and got himself a Stepford wife from Mars as an upgrade.

I don't recall any pornographers, but if one was to run, I would prefer an honest pornographer to a lying hypocrite any old day of the week.

As a former longtime Republican myself, I can assure you that Rove and Perino are nowhere in the ballpark with the GOP's leading problems. They're no more than minor peripheral irritants. The Republican party has embraced religious crackpottery and intolerance on a massive scale. Their continued refusal to even acknowledge that fact, let alone address it, is unraveling their fabric. They had to go a long way to lose a guy like me. And they left me in the dust a long time ago while they continue to accelerate towards a dead end. None of them are even thinking about the brakes, let alone a u-turn towards rationality.

Oh I don't think either are the problem, but they do not really represent what the party stands for and Rove is just plain annoying...I as so sorry he got a renewal of his FOX contract. Not, that I didn't think it would happen, I just wish it hadn't. Dana is just to nice and sweet for my taste... That being said, I do no think the party is in as much trouble as some think. Just like the split in the Democrat party awhile ago and in some cases still, we will unite with the right candidates. I was a supporter of the "Tea Party" in the beginning, not a member, but I supported thier agenda. I think they have veered off and might be doing more harm than good.
