of for heaven's sake, that has little to do with anything. Of course Republicans love to see a black emerge from nowhere, but they are not going to support a person solely on the color of their skin. That is something the libs might do. Blacks normally vote Democrat, we all know. Maybe not 93% like this past election, but they do not vote Republican so to think they will sworm to the voting booth to support a Republican black or white isn't very realistic.
Unfortunately, that's exactly what it looks like they are doing. What on earth qualifies Mia Love to run for president? And Dr. Carson, while undoubtedly a brilliant doctor, what qualifies him? It seems like Republicans are desperate to find a black candidate no matter the lack of qualification. Why, if not simply to have a black candidate to point to?

who the heck said Mia was running for Pres? That was simply someone starting a thread: what if..No one is even thinking about her running for anything more than a rep at this stage...Right now, there are many possible candidates being talked about..If you were really paying attention and not simply trying to pick apart the posts you don't like, you would see, most are saying he is not qualified, not he is or he should run...

The hole in your story is that over the last 3 years, only 3 political nobodies have been thrust into the national spotlight by Republicans. Can you name them?

Oh, I am guessing you are talking about Cain, Rubio, and maybe even Christie. As for nobodies, except for Cain, I would love to know who you are calling a nobody, thrown into the national spotlight? of course there have been no Democrats, maybe that is your problem...As for Carson, nobody would even be talking about him right now if he hadn't been invited to speak and then he shocked everyone with what he had to say...

You're 1 for 3. Rubio & Christie are not nobodies. You can't call a gov & a state speaker nobodies. I'm talking about people that were given more political spotlight than their accomplishments would merit...
#2 is Carson who was asked point blank to think about a public office on Hannity's show. From there it's snowballed.
#3 is Mia Love, who leading up to & post-CPAC has been the new darling of the GOP, and encouraged for higher office.
What did any of those three do to merit the level of attention their getting to be public figures?

its funny how they say they don't care about race but the first black that says anything conservative gets put on the pedestal
I suppose it's understandable when you consider the fact that Conservatives can count the total number of Conservative black candidates on one hand.
