Rand's appearance was an unmitigated disaster. Variously described as condescending, confused and historically inaccurate - to say the least and had to be corrected by the students he went their to "educate."
I only heard the interview. I'm no Paul fan but he is not like Ted Cruz.

It is racist to point out a fact that there were more black people on the stage than in the audience ?

In the first place, it was not true. Secondly, if the motive was to oppose progress towards the dream of MLK, (which I think it was) then yes it was fundamentally racist. Democrat leftists have enjoyed a monopoly on the minority vote for the last couple decades, and do not want to see any encroachment on that from the right. Hence the reaction to W Bush's efforts.

Suppose the NHL tried to boost participation of blacks in hockey, and the NBA reacted with venom. If the NBA execs were anti-racism we would expect them to welcome such a move. And if they react with venom, wouldn't it be a telltale indicator of the reverse?

How is it opposing progress at all to point out that there are more people of color on a stage than there are in a crowd ???

And isnt Colin Powell one of the people who said it was true. i mean, i could try to count the pixels in the youtube video to verify.

as for your NBA/NHL analogy, it makes no sense. It does in your mind because you may honestly believe D's are racist or something like that, but not tot hose of use who believe differently. And the argument is not about wanting more African Americans to be involved with the GOP, im not even sure this happened the way you are claiming.

Just as you think differently of Dems than we do of ourselves, we think differently of you than you do of yourself. people do not like to be tricked.

What the Republican Party is doing right now, sending out republicans to african American communities to spread their message , is the right thing to do. Putting someone on stage just to be a"face" is not. It isnt "reacting with venom" as you put it.

also, If you ask sports fans, your analogy did happen. Mark Sanchez.

With all the social engineering, affirmative action, civil rights, NAACP, and a host of other policies brought on and paid for by government....... Why would there be black, white, brown & yellow precincts, now?

The uneducated will never ever catch on and if you look around, they want them dumber & dumber.

The man is going to many colleges, not all predominately black. Getting the word of the Constitution to the young that have been brainwashed. Besides that, you have to be invited to speak at these "places of higher education"

I have to ask..... Is he suppose to feel guilty for being a white guy?

In order words, Rand Paul is PART OF THE PROBLEM.

Raised to be the victim, seems like a good excuse, to chastise those that don't feel guilty for being white.
His knowledge of history, doesn't recognize he described the Democrat party for the last 170 years.

I clearly see the problem, and it ain't Rand.

He is not going after your market. You are a lost cause. He knows the future of real Constitutional Conservatism, is to be planted in young minds, just as the Progressive cancer has been placed in the young minds by the Progressive established, DOEd.

They love hearing the truth and not the twisted lies.

You do not have to be invited to speak at a university, many speakers request the opportunity to speak.

Just because you do not agree with an ideology does not mean someone has been brain washed. Why do you even speak like that ?

and no he shouldn't be ashamed of being white.
