Yesterday, Politico published an article that said House Republican conservatives aren't ponying up money for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

House tea partiers not anteing up for 2014 - Alex Isenstadt - POLITICO.com

Well, there are 2 sides to that story of which Politico only reported one. Breitbart reports today:

"The Center for Responsive Politics reported in early October that House Republican Leadership has raised a massive amount of funds through their various PACs. However, according to Open Secrets, twenty conservative Republican members, who The New York Times identified as a constant “thorn” in Boehner’s side, received very little if nothing at all from these leadership PACs and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) during the 2012 election cycle."

House GOP Leadership PACs Snub Conservatives

Conservatives, give your money directly to the candidates you support...and always check for the other side of the story.

Yup. The tea party is just as bought as the larger GOP.

But to be fair, the same is true with the Democrats. The only big difference is the Republicans are split in half and the Democrats aren't. Big money will always go to the likeliest winner. The Democrats suffered the same fate the GOP is going through for 20 years, and their funding showed it.

This actually isn't really surprising, given that the Citizens United ruling has made the role of activists & donors outside the traditional party committees even more powerful.

The fact is, that the tea party's presence is a clear indication that the GOP has REGRESSED from the historically inept and pathetic version they were under Bush. This is why the GOP is now in a free fall, rejected by most people in this country, and headed towards extinction.

To the GOP. If you don't destroy the tea party or disassociate yourself from the cancer they represent, you will die as a party. Even if you do this, you must start from scratch to recreate your ideology so that it looks nothing like what it has been. Doing anything less, is political suicide. You cannot continue to be the party of Dixie, with bigotry as your foundation, and expect to remain a major political party in this changing nation.

Any party whose message is so bitter and repulsive to the sensibilities of all but the most privileged, who must resort to deceptive marketing, gerrymandering, voter suppression, rigged elections, lies about the opposition, and unreliable skewed polls, has no business in the race. House Republicans have been absolutely pathetic.

Just think what the Republican party would look like if they let a bunch of Progressives Democrats tell them what to do all the time?
