Huckabee continues to move upward.....
Given his very conservative platform, that seems to indicate the Iowa voter is interested in family / Christian values ~

Romney is sure to be looking over his shoulder right about now...

I don't want to dampen anyone's spirits who is backing Huckabee, but didn't he just say he's in favor of a total ban on smoking in public places and more importantly wasn't he a supporter of Bush's illegal amnesty program he tried to shove down our throats. Like I said he maybe a good man with some conservative values, but he's strayed off the reservation with the above mentioned items, if they're true. Ron Paul all the way.

i am sure that the press wants it to look like huckabee is winning, because he would certainly be easy to beat in the general election. huckabee won't make conservatives happy because of his pro immigration stance and he won't make liberals happy because of the evangelical angle. i guess that he could conceivably take iowa but i can't imagine him winning in any other states.

Let's face it. Huckabee is like Ron Paul - only he's playing with a full deck.

Huckabee is hated in Arkansas. He is a fringe liberal on everything but guns, gays, and abortion. He is about big spending, government control, and hes pro-illegal alien. Basically he would be a continuation of the Bush administration without the ties to big oil. Evangelicals will vote for him because hes firmly against gay marriage and abortion. He will have no appeal to moderates whatsoever.

What? He clearly doesn't understand the Constitution and is an authoritarian who doesn't believe in small government.

The "playing with a full deck" comment is par for the course. People have been attacking Ron Paul with baseless name calling because they can't intelligently articulate why they may disagree with his approach. If you feel that the founders of this nation, people like Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, weren't playing with a full deck, then yes, Ron Paul isn't either.

Maybe by playing with a full deck you mean a deck full of cards like the Ace of Corruption, or the Jack of Corporate Control... then again, he's not playing with a full deck.
