this is a good poll it would be interesting to see the results if you could choose in order of importance. War on terror, imigration , iraq war, taxes, economy, top 5!

I meant to do this but dropped the ball. I may see about adjusting it. I did not expect such an even distribution as to what people considered the most important single issue.

Sorry, have to create a new poll in order to change it so that multiple votes can be cast. If anyone cares to, feel free as it would be an interesting comparison.

IMO there is soooo much wrong with America today that it's hard to choose one issue. I think that honesty & transparency are necessary first before being able to move on to fixing all the other broken areas Whomever wins this election has a lot of "garbage" to clean up

How is energy not on the list ?
We take it for granted, but it's huge issue - in regards to the
national security, the economy and the environment.

I wonder how often folks consider the ramifications of our
population shift due to retiring baby boomers ?
We need either to keep them working ( till they drop ) or find
other ways to balance the ledger. It's going to suck for
the under forty club come retirement time.

Gay marriage, according to most people in my area.

I would say the war, alternative energy, and the economy are the top issues.

Default Healthcare

Why is not healthcare not the most important issue this election. Are we not concerned about the millions of people who have to make a choice whether to undergo necessary surgery or to pay for medication at the expense of loosing their home’s, etc. Why are we so concerned about people who come here to do an honest days work?
