hmm, that would be interesting, considering Ron Paul is the only republican candidate I can stand.

9u11ani isn't campaigning in Iowa. If Paul doesn't finish ahead of him, he can pack it in.

A top finish like that, even if he doesn't take the state, would set him up nicely for the rest of the campaign. It might even get some more campaign finance donations headed his way.

Of course, "fair and balanced" Faux News will continue to ignore him, and the rest of the media and the GOP establishment will find a way to claim that a few Paul zealots somehow spammed the caucus results. I can see it now ...

That's because he's not really a republican.

Ron Paul at the least has the money and dedicated grass roots support to carry him on past Florida no matter how he fares in the early states.

Actually the others are quite republican however we would need to go back to the beginnings of the gop to show how that party is far from the party of smaller, less intrusive government. You can't name a single republican president and cite examples of any legislation that is similar to Dr Pauls position.

If anything, Ron Paul may "re-invent" that party and have a shot at saving them from simply being relegated to a historial marker that's labled "right wing socialists".

That would be a great thing for America and would most certainly change the course of this place which keeps on marching along into it's socialist/authoritarian paradise, and yet another reason why the party itself has been anti-Paul from the start.

Perhaps they'll wake up and change, perhaps not. IF THEY DO NOT we are essentially guaranteed a clinton or obama presidency which would hasten America's collapse.

Paul is the last hope this country has for leadership.
