I actually didn't and voted McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012. I've said this on several different posts to different threads.

Re abolishing the IRS- so, you're ok with over 11,000 pages of laws, rules, and policies that seem to only apply to those who can't afford to dispute charges from the IRS? That explains why Al Sharpton is allowed to remain free while owing over $4 million in taxes and fines.
While I agree our healthcare system was flawed, Obamacare ensures we remain fish in a pond for the insurance companies; why do you think they quickly stopped protesting Obamacare once they realized who the real beneficiaries were?
How often do you hear of audits tax fraud or tax evasion? In truth, not really that much especially in the little guy. The highest percent below 500k is only 5% fir 0 income with most being under 5. It isnt until we got the 500K+ that we see in double digits.
As for Obamacare, how do we improve it? IMO, the only option I see is being single payer across the nation. It works great in Canada
Obama's father was an alcoholic polygamist who supported Socialism. Dud you take that into account when you voted for him? His mother basically abandoned him with her family so she could run around playing socialist in other countries. Did you take that into account when you voted for Obama?
Too funny. Right wingers call Obama the King wannabe, and here we have a REAL wannabe. No wonder Cruz's ego is so big it barely fits in the halls of Congress, he's had his father telling him his whole life that he was the "anointed one." Talk about delusions of grandeur. Too, too funny.
Nope, but the question is, how much of this theocratic nonsense does Ted buy into? Since he is accepting the honors, it very much matters what agenda he will pursue if elected to the presidency. And I can tell you right now that unless he clearly repudiates this "anointing", it ain't gonna fly.

Yes, in the sense that his record shows that he is his own man, not blindly following in his parents' footsteps. Obama was always clear about his presidential goals, and they were not socialist, but well within the traditional american liberal agenda. I know many people on this board think that everyone to the left of reagan is a radical socialist, but that just hasn't stuck no matter how much you've thrown it. Because most americans know better.
Tell that to all the Rand Paul fans who like him because of who his daddy is.
We are talking about Ted Cruz. Focus...focus.... throwing in a red herring doesn't defeat the argument that Cruz' father is not running for office. As such, Cruz should be treated the same as Obama when it comes to vetting a candidate for office.
