So, while you are throwing stones at Ted Cruz, claiming (falsely) that his father was a communist, you support Barack Obama, a "Progressive," raised and mentored by communists, and as a "Progressive" is a Marxist/socialist! That's what "Progressives" are.

You are really out of touch with reality.
LOL. Yes, nonsense, I am very aware that you believe all that nonsense about Obama and his parentage and upbringing, which is why I made that comment in the first place.

Obama met his father exactly twice in his life, and his father never fought side by side with an avowed Marxist. It was Cruz's father who did that. But you want us to tar the president for his tenuous relationship with his absent father as proof that he is a communist while giving Cruz a pass for being raised to adulthood by a communist. If that's not being "mentored by a communist" I don't know what is.

But of course, to you, that's "different." And I expected nothing less.

Thanks for not disappointing me.

The comment wasn't directed at Cruz. It was addressing Cruz' followers.

It wasn't?
Maybe Mike Huckabee, then?
Back stepping, to say you meant one thing, when clearly you meant what you originally typed.

At least be truthful.
Ted may be many things, not very bright, isn't one of them.

I believe the only qualifications are, you be a citizen and have lived in the borders of the USA for, what is it? 14 YEARS.

No one is doubting the intelligence of Rafael Edward Cruz.

It is the equivalent of Ted or Rand, having Bush or Romney as the VP.

Obamas real father is Frank Marshall Davis.

A number are (the amount of anarchism and what you are anarchist for is the difference) but there are a number that aren't like how there are non Marxist progressives.

IMO, conservatives use socialism and socialist very liberally, almost too liberally.
Sorry, but you are uninformed.

"Progressive" thought began in Europe, and was imported into the U.S. through the university system. It is an ideology, a political philosophy that has it's roots in Marxist/socialist thought. It sees government as the vehicle to solve all societal problems. "Progressives" believe that government "experts" are better able to decide the needs of society than free market economics, and they believe in redistribution to "equalize" the disparity between rich and poor (the "income gap"), etc.

Woodrow Wilson is considered by some to be the "Father of the Progressive Movement" in America.

I also recommend you read, "The Road to Serfdom" by F.A. Hayek. He specifically refers to "Progressivism" as Marxist/socialist, and points out that there is very little difference between Marxism, socialism, and communism, as they are all collectivist systems.
