Its not a moral to treat others differently than you would treat yourself. That is called discrimination(/Double Standard).

IMO, Hillary, like so many politicians of her generation, is so far beyond her "sell-by" date that, if she were a vat of whole milk, the only thing she would be good for is making cheese.
Yes, we should have a woman for President.
But, not Hillary.

Peoples opinions do change all the time and often with age also comes wisdom.

The trouble with politicians are they are not people. They make a practice of lies and deceit to further their own agendas and Hillary is a master at this. She has thumbed her nose at America so many times, scandal after lie filled scandal and the very sad thing is she is a viable candidate and many short sighted, short term memoried people will vote for her.

Hillary also said at one time she was adamantly against illegal immigration. (circa 2004).
Wonder if she has "evolved" on that opinion as well.

Politicians are going to say whatever gets them the most votes.
Haven't folks realized that by now ?

Her position has not changed nor has any other politicians. It boils down to money.
Her position has "evolved" over the past few years. Or.......something.

Gays and gay supporters don't and won't care what she said back then, just as they didn't care what Obama said back then.
As someone well to the left of The Democratic Party, this is what has always outraged me about Hilary Clinton. She will say what she considers necessary to impress the specific audience she is addressing at the time.

One can be assured that her private meetings with her Wall Street friends yield far different statements than those made to working class Americans. I imagine that her hawkish militay positions are also more a function of political expediency than of sincere ideology.

Even her persona has reflected this kind of hypocrisy. While married to Bill, as an attorney and feminist activist, she referred to herself as "Hilary Rodham" or "Hilary Rodham-Clinton". When her husband ran for the gubernatorial seat in a socially conservative state, she became "Hilary Clinton"--until Bill was elected. Then she was once again Hilary Rodham-Clinton.

When she decided to run for The US Senate, she bypassed running from her home state of Illinois, or her adopted state of Arkansas. Instead she took up residence in New York. This allowed her to pursue the far more politically powerful and media-intense position as a New York senator. She is the ultimate mercenary politician.

Is her version of the famous John Kerry Iraqi War position? I was against it, before I was for it, and voted for it.
Well, see, "liberals" attribute this (wrongly) to "Progress." They think that's what "progressivism" is. It actually isn't. "Progressivism" has nothing to do with changing attitudes, except perhaps in a very remote sense, as they are "evolutionists," so they believe all things "evolve."

Your spin is incorrect. It was about finding an open Senate seat. Senator Pat Moynihan of New York was retiring (he died 2 years later) and there were no Senate races in Arkansas or Illinois in 2000.
