The reason Jeb Bush is a lousy candidate is based on his illegal immigration stance and saying so is not getting off topic because the topic is about him! He is not a better candidate for the American people based on that.

I hope to heck he never gets nominated. His views on Common Core, NSA,and illegal immigration are enough to turn many voters away.

Many agree with this position. There is nothing Conservative about that.

Might as well re write the constitution and establish a monarchy. Why bother with primaries, debates, etc. Just run another Bush. We don't have enough wars. Jen Bush means American soldiers in IRAN. Oh yeah, I'm really excited about that.

He's actually going out of his way to alianate the far right of the party and distance himself early from the republican base.
He's looking like one of the few sane republicans left.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) suggested in an interview Sunday that the crux of responsibility for out-of-control spending in Washington during the 2000’s was in the hands of the Republican-controlled Congress,
Bush pointed to his brother’s inability to keep “the reins on spending†but suggested that it had largely been the legislative body in Washington that had failed to control costs.

“I mean, because of the war and because of the focus on protecting the homeland, I think he let the Republican Congress get a little out of control, in terms of the spending,†Bush said.

Jeb Bush Blames GOP Congress, Not His Brother, For Bush-Era Spending
And you believe him? Blaming the GOP Congress and not his dear brother? really? What a liar. He AND his brother are both scumbags.

Why are we even considering people from the SAME family of a previous President to be a new President ? Are we that thin on talent and brains in America ?

I have the same opinion on the Democratic front runner too. We need to dump these turkeys.

If it comes down to Clinton vs Bush, I will probably vote for a third party candidate. Neither one should even be allowed to visit the White House.

No one but Bush has sufficient name recognition, let alone policy knowledge, with the people who will vote in 2016 to give the poll any credibility. What matters now is fund raising, staffing, and retail politics going on largely out of the limelight and certainly unmeasured in polling. In the end, that will determine the outcome, too. It's why Obama beat Clinton in 2008 and won the general twice.

Having lived under Jeb as governor, my first thoughts were "I could probably be OK with him as President". Then when he announced who some of his foreign policy advisers would be and I saw the name of Paul Wolfowitz among others from the previous Bush eras, my thoughts changed to "Never mind, who else do I look at now".
