Wave, Continued: GOP Will Control 70 Percent of All State Legislative Chambers - Guy Benson

GOP even controls the state Senate now here in WA, which is all-Democrat-all-the-time.
I never said you did, you actually weren't specific, I was.

And let us know when land can vote or when the GOP will pick a centrist or liberal Republican to run for office.

The state Senate in Washington is divided up by land, not population. There are a couple more Republican districts in the state than Democrat districts, therefore the Republicans have a 2 seat advantage.

Also, you seem to think that state elections will somehow predict presidential elections, if it did we would be talking about President Romney's reelection right now, but we are not.

I Like Spam"The conservative wing, the Tea Party if you will, doesn't owe loyalty to the Republicans if they are abandoned."

The inverse is also true.

Giving up for a generation while trying to build a "big tent", I don't see it working. I don't see the people sticking with you, and I don't see the party staying together for that long.
Adapt to what? Anarchary and a special interest racist group?

The inverse is also true.

The moderates, the Republican establishment if you will, are in charge, the Tea Party isn't. The Tea Party doesn't have standing to abandon anyone.

Do you think that interest and funding for the Republican Party can be maintained over the 6-7 losing election cycles it will take before they are ready to actually compete for power again?

Yes, if each time some indicators are improving, such as non white % voting GOP POTUS, Blue Wall state % voting GOP POTUS, single women % voting GOP POTUS, etc.

The 1st step for the Dems taking 61% of ECs the last 24 years was the formation of the DLC, which was their admission that the old ways were no longer valid. That needs to occur with the GOP given 21st century demographics. 7 of 8 MR voters were white. You can't win POTUS with that hand anymore.

PS: TP is all noise, no $ for the GOP. You do not win POTUS with $5 from Gomer Pyle pimping gas in a town of 750.

GOP held the Confederacy in 2008 and 2012. When are McCain and Romney being sworn in?

Gomer Pyle is why the GOP has a virtual lock on every state south of the Ohio River, Tornado Alley and Texas and every state the Missouri River flows through or by or drains. Golly.
