unless things radically change in the polls i don't think he stood a chance at the nomination before the joke so..... no affect at all ( i even doubt it will affect his poll numbers ).

Biden has endured a lot of personal tragedy in his life, and plenty of people who dislike him intensely would still refrain from kicking him when he is down.
Cruz did himself no favors, but everyone in public life missteps. As Biden would be the first to remind Cruz.
